3 DAYS 2 NIGHT AT HONJE ECOLODGE, UJUNG KULON

Hello! Here’s our first trip in 2016. Around mid-January, we went to a trip together to Honje Ecolodge Ujung Kulon. We planned the trip since last year (about 6 months before) and we decided to go to the beach this time. And this awesome place is recommended by our other friend who already went here before. Thankfully we booked the place in advance, the place is fully booked every week! We got the dates that we want.

Since the place is a bit far, like 5-6 hours drive from Jakarta, we went there on Friday. We arrived around 6pm and the place is really beautiful! Although the road was a bit bumpy but it was totally worth the journey. Thanks to Google maps and guides from the owner we can arrive safely at the place :).

The staff are also nice and caring 🙂 After we rest a bit, we asked for dinner since it’s almost dinner time. Here, we cannot cook by ourselves. You have to ask the kitchen staff to cook for you.

By the way, the place has no internet signal at all! Sometimes you can get signal (our joyfull moment) sometimes not. So, work is banned here ;D Sleep, Play, Beach, and Eat all day. Totally holiday mode on! You can rent a boat to explore the nearby island, snorkeling, or any beach activities.

For the weather, since we go here during Rainy season, the weather is good. Not too hot, mostly cloudy because it usually rains (really hard) during night. I totally enjoyed taking a nap on the bench. lol.
