I bought cooking cream and a block of mozarella cheese last month that I haven’t used yet. I was planning to make lasagna with it but I don’t have time yet. Afraid that it might expired next month, I decided to use it for Creamy pasta. I never use cream & mozarella cheese for pasta before, I always use Parmessan cheese and Milk. And it turned out it’s more delicious to cook it with Mozarella cheese! The taste is like the one I always eat at restaurant :D The white sauce is more ‘thick’ than usual.
Pasta of choice (I’m using what Fettucine pasta)
1 1/2 cups Cooking Cream
Mozarella cheese (I cut it into small cubes and get like 5 cubes)
1 teaspoon of Dried Oregano
1 teaspoon of Butter / Margarine
1 clove of garlic, minced
1/2 clove of onion, minced
Salt and Pepper
1. Cook pasta in a boiling water, add 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of cooking oil. Cook the pasta until al dente. Drain the pasta.
2. Heat olive oil and the butter/margarine, add the minced onion and garlic. Saute until fragrant, add the smoked beef. Cook for about 3 minutes.
3. Add mozarella cheese cubes and cook until it melted. Add the cooking cream. Stir it constantly. Add the oregano, salt and pepper. Bring the sauce to simmer.
4. Combine the pasta and the sauce, and Enjoy! :)
